INOVYN wins prestigious polymers award

INOVYN has won the 'PVC Polymer Category Award' at the Best Polymer Producer Awards for Europe 2016.

The Award is voted for by European customers, based on five key criteria – quality; regulatory compliance; delivery performance; communication and innovation.

Comments Filipe Constant, Business Director, INOVYN: “In winning this Award our customers have clearly recognised INOVYN’s ongoing contribution to the plastics value chain.

“INOVYN is the European vinyls leader and among the top three largest vinyls producers worldwide. Vinyls are by far the most versatile thermoplastics ever and INOVYN serves different market needs through two dedicated business units - General Purpose Vinyls and Specialty Vinyls – bringing innovative solutions to the marketplace.

“We are also at the forefront of sustainability with our VINYLOOP® and TEXTILOOP® technologies, offering class-leading vinyl recycling solutions.”

INOVYN was presented with the Award during the main conference of the European Plastics Converters (EuPC) Annual Meeting.

"We are delighted with the outcome of the Awards voting. The results demonstrate the strength of feeling of the European polymer users that their voice should be heard, and the Polymers for Europe Alliance seems to represent the perfect platform for that," outlined Ron Marsh, Chairman of the Alliance.

INOVYN was amongst 7 winners during the Awards, which not only recognised performance across the full range of polymer categories, but wider innovation.

Alexandre Dangis, EuPC Managing Director, explained further: "We were happy that all winners were able to attend the ceremony to accept their awards in person. This initiative provides a unique insight for all of us into the dynamics of the polymer supply chain. It is a major step towards re-establishing a constructive dialogue and a good communication between suppliers and users of polymers in Europe."
