INOVYN awarded EcoVadis ‘GOLD MERIT’ status for Corporate Social Responsibility

INOVYN has been awarded Gold Merit status in a recent assessment of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme by Ecovadis, the global independent assessor of environmental and labour practices/supplier sustainability.

The award places INOVYN in the top 5% of suppliers assessed by EcoVadis in all categories.

Comments Filipe Constant, Business Director INOVYN: “Corporate Social Responsibility is a core part of our strategy. We continually strive to improve our performance in all key areas of our operations to make INOVYN fully sustainable in terms of the triple bottom line – people, planet and profit.”

The latest EcoVadis assessment, which builds on INOVYN’s first audit in 2017, looked at the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility management system across four key areas: environment; labour practices; ethics/fair business practices; and supply chain (sustainable procurement). INOVYN achieved higher scoring across a number of key categories to move from Silver to Gold Merit status.

Adds Filipe: “Of particular note was our improved performance in the areas of environment and labour practices, which, when benchmarked against several thousand other companies, were both in the top quartile.

“Our Gold Merit status is a clear indicator to our customers, suppliers and wider stakeholders of the excellent progress we continue to make in this increasingly important area.”
